Great masjids throughout the Muslim World - Musalla kidz newsletter for Muslim Children education

Assalamu-alaykum Welcome back friends and all

Oh no, Its parents day next week. I'm not looking forward to it.

My mum will be speaking to my teacher Mrs Ratcliff. She will tell my mum everything about me.

My legs are shaking jut thinking about it! I have not been a bad boy at school-well not really.

I hope Mrs Ratcliff gives a good report about me. I have been working extra hard this term.

I might not be top of the class but I work really hard in everything I do.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how clever you are but it maters how hard you try.

I might not get 10/10 in my class every time but I get 10/10 for effort.

See what happens, do Dua and remember to work hard yourself PP

The prophet (pbuh) was commanded to deliver the message to his people. When the prophet (pbuh) told the people about Allah they became angry and would harm the Muslims.

The Muslims faced many hardships but the prophet (pbuh) never stopped telling the people about Allah. He always told them to be good and to pray only to Allah.

The people behaved so badly to the Muslims that some had to move to a different country. The prophet (pbuh) still continued his work and told people to follow the truth.

They even tried to bribe the prophet (pbuh). They said they would make him the richest in Arabia and make him their king but the prophet (pbuh) replied that following Islam was better.

Finally after many years, the hardship paid off and all the people of Makkah accepted Islam and became Muslim

The Muslims had migrated from Makkah to Madina which was known as the Hijra. The Muslims who came to Madina were known as the Muhajirun and the Muslims who welcomed them into Madina were known a the Ansar.

A long time had passed in Madina and no children were born from the Muslims, the unbelievers of Madina used to say that they had cursed the Muslims so they will not have any children. There were a few children that were born but they passed away shortly after their birth.

Then one day there were cries of Allahu Akbar throughout Madina with the birth of a child from the lady Asma. There was great celebration as the overjoyed Abu Bakr held his beloved grandchild in his arms. The prophet (pbuh) was very pleased. He held Abdullah ibn Zubair in his arms and made dua for him.

Abdullah dedicated his whole life to Islam by learning and practicing Islam. He was known for some great qualities which he possessed. His deep love for worshipping and Salah. He was very brave and courageous and he was very well spoken (eloquent). He was also very obedient to his parents.

A time came when Makkah was under attack from hostile forces. Abdullah showed so much gallantry and bravery unlike anyone else. He fought off the attackers with whatever means he had. All his companions slowly left him and he was surrounded from all sides by his enemies. He still remained strong to the truth and defended Makkah until there was only a handful of them left.

His life is an example to us all. It shows that whatever we do we should give our best effort and always do what is good and right.

Assalamu-alaykum, My dad was away so my mum said I had to be the man of the house. I washed the dishes, cleaned my room, washed the clothes, carried the shopping home and even helped cook dinner. I didn't know it was such hard work being a grown up! PP

The Prophet had the best manners and behaviour.
