At one time, there was one centre in Stirling (Bannockburn Road, St NInians). As the community grew larger, a new centre was opened in Falkirk because of the large number of Muslims living in Falkirk and surrounding Areas.
The present site came up for sale on .... and a community meeting took place to discus the purchase of this building and its suitability for conversion to an Islamic centre.
It was decided by the majority that the building was suitable and an offer was put forward for its procurement. Simultaneously, donations were collected from the local Muslims and the wider community of UK. The Majority of the money was raised locally for the purchase and conversion of the building.
